Hi I’m Jenny and I have been with Barkley Manor since April 2013. My role is Senior Experience Leader in Daycare

I am literally the Grannie of Barkley! I have 2 adult daughters and two grandchildren who are cute as buttons and keep me on my toes. Ross (long suffering husband) and I enjoy having our BM dog-sit extended family. Come and stay with us at our country casa in Paremoremo.

My Wheaten Terrier Murphy McNaughty aka Smurf is the reason I crossed paths with Krista and Barkley – his ‘unique and challenging’ personality led me down the winding path of seeking the knowledge below!

Pet Tec ‘Pet CPR & First Aid’ certificate
Duke University ‘Dog Cognition & Emotion’ Certificate
British College of Canine Studies (BCCS) Level 3 - Merit
Currently studying BCCS ‘Advanced Canine Behaviour’ Diploma Level 4

I feel very privileged to be entrusted with the care of our clients beloved 4 legged kids. There is nothing so special as the heart of a dog and there is equally nothing so special as the relationships we (as humans) form with dogs.
